Independent Advice.
No Bankruptcy. No loss of Dignity.
An IVA is a debt
relief plan set up by the government to provide a solution to personal
debt and deal with the growing issue of personal insolvency. Our clients
are licenced to give advice and do so on the understanding that IVAs
are not designed to be one-size-fits-all quick fixes to any problem
with money, because each person's situation is so different. An independent
IVA deal responds better to the flexibile needs of different people.
The needs of one
household can be vastly different from the needs of the next. Any advice
given must take into account the diverse nature of the situation in
which people find themselves.
Normally an Individual
Voluntary Arrangement will be set to run for 60 months (sometimes less)
and after the term has finished all debts are cleared from a person's
credit record. During the time of the IVA no banks or debt collectors
are permitted to harass the debtor. The IVA has the benefits of bankruptcy
while having none of the disadvantages.
An instrument such
as an independent IVA deal writes off the larger part of your debt at
the beginning of the programme (although beware of the claims made in
some advertising: it is seldom more than 60 or 65 per cent of total
unsecured debt which can be 'written off' in this way). Any decent IVA
advice of this sort will make sure you get optimum results with the
lowest repayments together with the highest percentage of debt write-off.
So complete the
form for impartial and independent advice for your
own personal circumstances.
Under
recent government law, IVAs or individual voluntary arrangements have
been made possible. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement is an easy and
acceptable alternative to bankruptcy and has none of the shame or stigma
attached. It is the best way to handle personal insolvency. Following
government rules, a properly conducted IVA will write off sixty percent
(often more than that) of personal debt at a stroke. Your keen interest
in an independent IVA deal should be well rewarded by the enhancement
in life quality enabled by it.
Not all people would be deemed suitable for an Individual Voluntary
Arrangement; there are some restrictions on who can apply. As a rule,
people applying need to have a regular income which is verifiable giving
them a surplus monthly sum over and above the necessary household outgoings
in order to fund the monthly payments, but this needn't be a huge amount
by any means. People not qualifying for an independent IVA deal will
almost always be eligible for a comparable debt settlement plan.
By enquiring into an independent IVA deal you are setting yourself
on the road to personal well being and so effectively ensuring a new
beginning. Any choices made now will start this process.
